Ashland, Ore. - After suffering their first conference loss on Friday, the University of Providence men's soccer team fell to Southern Oregon 2-0 on Friday.

The game was scoreless at half. The Raiders got on board in the 59th minute off the goal from Renee Resendez. Alan Gaytan scored in the 90th minute to secure the victory.

"We've just lost our shooting boots right now," head coach Matt Ball said. "We controlled large portions of the game but they were more clinical in front of goal than we were. We've been the better team in both games this weekend but it doesn't matter if we can't score."

The Argos will next take the field against College of Idaho on Oct. 4 at 4 p.m.
