Ashland, Ore. - The University of Providence women's soccer team lost to Southern Oregon 3-1 Sunday morning.
The Raiders got on board first with a goal from Kaya Baird in the 20th minute. Baird scored again in the 57th minute for the two goal lead. Eme McLaughlin scored the only goal for the Argos in the 58th minute off a penalty kick. However the Raiders scored a minute later with a goal in the 61st minute from Baylee Touee to solidfy the victory.Â
"We played well today but could only find the back of the net once," head coach Brian Clarke said. "If we continue to play like this and limit our big mistakes we will be fun to watch."
The Argos are halfway through their four-game road stretch. They will next play the College of Idaho in Caldwell on Oct. 4 at 1:30 p.m.
