Helena, Mont- The Carroll College Early Bird Open Cross Country meet was held in Helena Friday with thirty-six runners taking the field on a 75-degree day.

University of Providence was well represented at the meet with Freshman Nash Grafe placing 12th in the male race. He ran the 8K race in a time of 27.42, which placed him 7th among Frontier school competition. 

"Nash is off to a great start to the season," head coach Tony Arnett said.

The UP cross country team will be back in action Friday, September 13, 2019 as they travel to Billings for the Conference Preview Meet.
