GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence is excited to announce the launch of a brand new, state of the art streaming service called Playsight for all home basketball, volleyball and wrestling matches.
The streaming service, which is sponsored by Sletten Construction, uses A.I. technology to follow all movements within the boundaries of the court. With the movement tracker, the four cameras will zoom in on the action and give the viewers the best possible view of the action. The technology will also allow for coaches to use the multiple cameras during practice and will allow them to easily make highlight tapes for social media.
To watch games remotely, users will be required to create a free Playsight account. This process should only take around five minutes. Once you create an account you will be able to watch all Argo games via Playsight free of charge.
The system will be utilized starting with the men's and women's game against Montana State Northern on Jan. 9.
