GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Six student athletes from the University of Providence cross country team were named to the Frontier Conference All-Academic team, the league office announced Friday.

Sage Banner was the lone member that was named to the men's team. Alexis Cavalier, Makayla Cook, Lorena De Leon, Carolina Guzman and Kita Weingart were all named on the women's side. In total, 56 student-athletes from the Frontier Conference were named to the team.

"I'm very proud of these guys," head coach Tony Arntson said. "They demonstrated hard work not only during practice but in the classroom as well. These guys are the kind of kids I love to coach. I love smart kids."

To be eligible for the Academic All-Conference team, the student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in standing, maintain a 3.0 GPA and be enrolled at school the previous two semesters.
