GREAT FALLS, Mont.- The University of Providence men's wrestling team adds another member to it's roster by signing Payton Hume.

Hume is a very accomplished High School wrestler from Kalispell, winning a Montana State Title in 2018 season for the Flathead Braves. Payton was a four-sport athlete in high school participation in golf, tennis, football and wrestling.

Hume will be transferring from the University of Mary in Bismarck, N.D. and will be a redshirt sophomore for the Argos in the coming year. He plans on getting a degree in physical education at the University of Providence.

"Payton is an excellent student athlete and we are very excited to have him joining us at the University of Providence," head coach Steve Komac said. "Payton is very athletic and a great competitor who is equally successful in the classroom. Payton is going to be a great addition to our program."
