GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Twenty-eight student-athletes from the University of Providence were named Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes by the NAIA on Tuesday. In addition, four University of Providence athletic programs were recognized as NAIA Scholar Teams.

Bri Wikert (women's soccer) were all individually recognized as Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes by the NAIA.
To be eligible to be a Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete, student-athletes must have at least a 3.5 GPA, be eligible in their sport, have at least a junior in academic status after the completion of the most recent semester and have attended the institution for at least one year as a transfer and two years as a non-transfer.
The University of Providence women's basketball team (3.68 team GPA), women's soccer team (3.35 team GPA), softball team (3.33 team GPA) and volleyball team (3.18 team GPA) were named NAIA Scholar Teams.
