GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence athletic department announced this year's date of the annual Argo Scholarship Golf Tournament. The tournament will take place August 28, 2021 at Eagle Falls Golf Course in Great Falls, Mont.
The tournament will consist of four-person teams playing scramble golf. The top three teams in all flights will walk away with prize money.
"This tournament is very special to us in the athletic department at the University of Providence," assistant athletic director
Jim Sargent said. "The money raised from this tournament will help provide scholarships for our student-athletes across our many sports."
Team registration will be $625, plus cart and mulligan fees. The tournament will also feature competitions at various holes, including longest drive, closest to the pin, longest putt and a chance to win a car, donated by City Toyota.
"This day is one of the most fun days of the year for us," Sarge said. "The cost of education is expensive, but if we can provide scholarships to our student-athletes, it's a win win for everybody."
