Billings, Mont. - Senior Adysen Burns recorded 12 kills and 13 digs but the University of Providence volleyball team came up short in a 3-0 loss Saturday night at Rocky Mountain College. The Battlin' Bears committed just nine errors in the 25-18, 25-14, 25-16 win to improve to 4-1 in Frontier Conference play. Bella Thompson had 19 assists while Karly Stromberg recorded 13. Ryann Eddins added six kills for the Argos. Providence falls to 0-5 in the Frontier, 7-16 overall. Makenna Bushman led Rocky with 10 kills.
Providence is now off for the next two weeks with the league taking its annual mid-season off week. The Argos return to action Saturday, October 22 with a road match at Montana Tech.
