Argo cross country wraps up season

UP men and women finish at Frontier Championships

Helena, Mont. - The University of Providence men and women wrapped up the 2022 cross country season at the Frontier Conference Championships Friday in Helena. The Argo women came in 5th overall out of six led by MeKenzie Clark who finished in a time of 21:36.4., finishing in 27th overall. The rest of the women saw Olivia Nygreen clock a time of 21:45.2 to finish 30th. Reilly Wilson was 32nd with a time of 21:49.5, Emilie Crago finished 39th in 23:38.3, Isabella Lane was 43rd with a time of 24:50.7 and Doreen Koech crossed the finish line in 25:10.9 coming in 45th.  

On the men's side, Nash Grafe was the highest Argo clocking in at 28:09.6 to come in 24th. Ciaran Molloy was 38th in 30:55.9. In 40th place, Jon Johanson with a time of 31:52.3, right behind him in 41st was teammate Noah Aparicio in 32:11.2 and in 48th was Christian Buhler with a time of 37:47.7. 

Rocky's Sydney Little Light won the 5k in 18:11.4. Carroll's women claimed the auto-bid to nationals with a first-place team finish. The Carroll men also won the team title and berth to nationals in Florida later this month. Rocky's Jackson Wilson made it an individual sweep for the Battlin' Bears winning the 8k in 25:30.8.
