GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence men's basketball team announced on Monday that Greg Pontious will join the program.

Pontious will join the program from Claremont High School in Upland, Calif., where he averaged 12 points, three rebounds and two assists per game.

"We are excited to add Greg Pontious to our Argo basketball program," head coach Steve Keller said. " Greg is left-handed, pure three-point shooter. He is also great student in the classroom as he carries above a 4.0 GPA."

Pontious graduated with a 4.05 cumulative GPA and was named an Honors Scholar. He plans to study business administration and management at Providence.
