GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence men's basketball team announced on Monday that Logan Nicholson will join the Argo program.

Nicholson, a 6'0 guard from Deer Lodge, Mont., played basketball, football, golf and ran track at Powell County High School. Throughout his basketball career he was named All-State twice and 1^st Team All-Conference three times. As a senior, he averaged 18.3 points, 8.4 boards, 3.1 steals and 2.3 assists per game while shooting 47.7% from the field. He also broke the school record by scoring 43 points in a game.

"We are excited to add Logan Nicholson to our Providence basketball team," head coach Steve Keller said. "Logan is athletic and his work ethic is second to none. We look forward to watching his progress in the Frontier Conference."
 
Nicholson was named Academic All-State twice in his career and was named to the Honor Roll all four years. He plans to study exercise science at Providence.
