Great Falls, Mont. - Northwest University (Wash.) outshot Providence 29-7 including a 16-5 advantage in shots on goal and the Eagles earned a 4-0 win Saturday in Great Falls. Trinity Mischel scored two minutes into the match and the Eagles kept up constant offensive pressure all day long to move to 2-0 on a road trip through Montana.
Maya Lewis, Kayla Soderstrom and Colette Liston also scored for Northwest which improved to 7-0-2 overall, 3-0-1 in Cascade Conference play. The first half saw the Argos defense keep the deficit at one, but 20 shots by the Eagles in the second half were too much to overcome.
