Dillon, Mont. - The University of Providence committed 33 errors with just 32 kills for a -.007 hitting percentage and the Argos fell to 0-3 in Frontier Conference play for the first time in six years falling on the road at Montana Western in volleyball action 25-16, 15-25, 25-16, 25-16, 25-8 Friday night.
Zoe Naugle continued her good play with a team leading nine kills, Jenna Thorne added seven with 14 digs while Taylor Christensen and Adysen Burns also had 14 kills for the Argos. Providence also committed eight service errors, which was one of the issues Friday says Head Coach Arunas Duda, "We were plagued by our unforced errors once again tonight. We have to find a way to play more consistently and side out more efficiently. We also must find a way to commit to that level of play all the time."
Providence (7-14, 0-3) will return home Wednesday to face Carroll College. Live stats and streaming will be available at www.upargos.com.
