HELENA, Mont. – After setting a new program record with 28 rebounds in the 72-61 victory over Lindsey Wilson College, freshman
Keanna Salave'a has been named the Erck Hotels Frontier Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
Salave'a is a freshman from Vancouver, Wash. and averaged 16.5pts, 19reb, and 3.5ast per game across the two victories last weekend. In the fourth quarter alone versus Lindsey Wilson, Salave'a recorded 10 points and 10 rebounds while shooting 4-4 from the field.   Â
Salave'a is the second Argo to win player of the week this season after graduate transfer
Ashlee Maldonado took home the award on Oct. 30. Keanna is the sixth Argo in the last three seasons to be named player of the week joining

Bill Himmelberg on Salave'a performance stated, "Keanna did a great job anchoring us throughout both of our games last weekend. She is continuing to improve every week and I am excited for what is to come."
Argos will be back in action Friday, Nov. 17 when they host #9 Vanguard University in Great Falls. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. in the McLaughlin Center.
