GREAT FALLS, Mont. -- The University of Providence men's wrestling program split in their pair of duals at the Battle of the Rockies on Friday.

The Argos (4-1) won all 10 matches versus Snow College to win their first match of the day 51-0. UP had five pins with redshirt freshman Dre Coles in 3:54, redshirt sophomore Dante Reviglio in 3:00, redshirt freshman Jalen Vladic in 2:56, sophomore Aden Graves in 2:27, and sophomore Sawyer Hobbs in 1:34.

In the second dual of the day the Argos fell 19-14 to #3 Southeastern. UP lost the first four matches to go down 13-0, but Graves was able to get the first victory for the Argos defeating the returning NAIA National Champion and #1 ranked Salvador Silva 2-1.

UP would barely lose the 165 match before redshirt seniors Jordan Komac and Alan Badley each won major decisions to bring the match within five.

Despite losing the 197 match, redshirt senior #3 KC Buday ended the night with a 7-5 victory over #2 Gabe Jacobs. Buday started the match down 5-0, but a late rally in the third including a clutch takedown secured the victory.

The Argos will be back in action Dec. 2 for the Battle of the Rockies tournament beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the McLaughlin Center.
