GREAT FALLS, Mont. - The University of Providence men and women are gearing up for the Frontier Conference basketball championships to be held Sunday, Feb. 26 – Tuesday, Feb. 28 at the Pacific Steel Four Seasons Arena in Great Falls.
The Argo women are the No. 4-seed and will open the tournament at 1 p.m. Sunday taking on No. 5-seed Montana Tech. The Argos won 2 of 3 matchups between the teams in the regular season.
For the first time since the 2007-08 season the tourney will be played at a single site.

Top-seeded Carroll College and second-seeded Montana Western receive first round byes.

The Providence men are the No. 2-seed and received a first round bye thanks to owning tiebreakers over MSU-Northern and Carroll College. Regular season champion Montana Tech also received a bye into Monday's Semifinals. The Argos will play Monday night against the highest remaining seed.
