GREAT FALLS, MONT. -- The University of Providence women's soccer program hosts Northwestern College in a nonconference matchup Aug. 25 at 3:30 p.m. at Argo Field.
Last Time Out
The Argos suffered a loss to Rocky Mountain College in their first regular season matchup last Thursday.
Ernestina S. Ofori scored the first goal of the season for the Argos, but they ultimately fell to the Battlin' Bears. Sophomore
Kailey Camper added two shots and freshman
Peyton Lathrop and junior
Lizbeth Barraza both had a shot on goal.
Season Leaders
Ofori is the Argos lone goal scorer thus far and Camper is the team's shot leader with two. In goal, freshman
Kam Nadeja is the save leader for UP with two so far this season. Head coach
Heather Blandford on the upcoming game stated, "We are excited for another chance to build on the team concepts we've been working on in training and improve on our last performance."
Northwestern College
This will be the first matchup in program history between the Argos and the Raiders. Northwestern College is yet to play a match this season and will begin their year with a trip to Great Falls. UP will need to slow down senior Julie Dunlap who was the Raiders top goal and assist leader last season.
