Women's Wrestling Announces 2023-2024 Schedule

GREAT FALLS, Mont. -- The University of Providence women's wrestling program will start their season on Oct. 21 when they visit Calgary, Canada for the Dino Open. They will stay on the road to wrestle in the Menlo Open in Atherton, Canada before coming back home for the Battle of the Rockies on Dec. 1-2 in the McLaughlin Center.

UP will then go back on the road for the North Central Open in Naperville, Ill. before visiting Forth Worth, Texas for the U.S. Open. After winter break, the Argos travels to Cedar Falls, Iowa for National Duals.

UP will visit Edmonton, Canada for the Golden Bear Open, Fort Wayne, Ind. for the Warrior Open, and Des Moines, Iowa for the Grand View Open before hosting Southern Oregon University on Feb. 9 for their last home event of the season.

UP will then begin postseason play with the Cascade Collegiate Conference Tournament on Feb. 24 in Atherton, Calif. The NAIA National Tournament takes place in Jamestown, North Dakota at Harold Newman Arena on Mar. 8, and the USMC Women's National Championship is in Spokane, Wash. on April 12-14.

Head coach Matt Attwood stated, "This should be a fun year for us! We have a very tough schedule built for a very tough team, and we couldn't be more excited to see how the year unfolds!"
