GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence women's wrestling team heads to Wichita, Kansas for the NAIA National Championships on March 13-14. Wrestlers will compete throughout the weekend at the Heartland Credit Union Arena.
 
Last Time Out
The Argos won their first team Cascade Collegiate Conference Championship and saw seven athletes crowned individual champions at the CCC Championships. Seniors Erin Hikiji, Waipuilani Estrella-Beauchamp, Esther Han, junior Paige Morales, Alyssa Randles, and freshman Elise Twait and Joely Slyter all were crowned champions at the CCC Tournament.
 
Rankings
The Argos were ranked #3 in the final NAIA Top 20 poll and qualified the maximum of 12 wrestlers for the NAIA National Tournament in #1 Erin Hikiji (103), #2 Waipuilani Estrella-Beauchamp (131), #3 Paige Morales (110), #4 Elise Twait,  #5 Aspen Dodge (160), #6 Esther Han (138), #7 Alyssa Randles (124), #7 Joely Slyter (117), #11 Hailey Sutton (160), #12 Isa Bocanegra (103), #13 Kassidy Sigda (180), and #16 Kayla Shota (110).
 
Last Year
The Argos finished sixth as a team last season and had one individual National Champion and three individuals earn All-American status with Erin Hikiji being crowned champion at 103, Waipuilani Estrella-Beauchamp placing second at 138, and Paige Morales in third at 110.
 
Hikiji and Estrella-Beauchamp are both three-time All-Americans and are searching for their fourth for the University of Providence at this year's Championships. Morales is searching for her third and junior Alyssa Randles is looking to repeat her All-American success from her freshman campaign at the NAIA National Championships this season.
 
NAIA National Championships
The 2026 NAIA National Championships will begin at 9:00 a.m. (MST) on March 13 with the first and second rounds of the championship and consolation brackets and then will continue at 4:00 p.m. (MST) with the quarterfinals and consolation rounds on Friday night. (Link to full schedule).
