GREAT FALLS, MONT. -- The University of Providence women's soccer program travels to Salem, Ore. to play Corban University on Sept. 29 before traveling to Eugene, Ore. on Sept. 30 to compete against Bushnell University.  

Last Time Out
The Argos defeated Warner Pacific University 1-0 at Argo Field. UP scored the lone goal of the game when sophomore Ernestina S. Ofori scored her fourth goal of the year off a lead pass by junior Mel Alvarado-Lopez. Junior Maya Amundson also recorded eight saves for her first career shutout.  

Season Leaders
Ofori is the leading goal scorer thus far after her fourth last weekend against Warner Pacific University. Junior Malan Flygare has the second most with two. Sophomore Kailey Camper and freshman Shea Waters both have two assists apiece and Waters is also second in shots with 10. In goal, freshman Kam Nadeja is the save leader for UP with 36 so far this season.

Corban University
The Argos are 1-11 all-time versus the Warriors with the lone win coming in a 2-0 victory in 2019. Corban is 3-2-4 so far this season and are coming off a 0-0 tie versus Oregon Tech their last time out.  

Bushnell University
UP is 8-2 all-time versus the Beacons including a 3-2 victory in their meeting last season. Bushnell is 2-3 so far this season and is coming off a 1-0 victory over Oregon Tech their last time out.

Head coach Heather Blandford on the matchups this weekend stated, "We are excited for another opportunity to play against quality opponents. Our team feels good about last week's performance, and we are focused on building on that momentum. A big priority for us this week is making sure we are mentally and physically ready to compete for 90 minutes, especially when we are on the road."
