GREAT FALLS, Mont. – After a 3-0 weekend including defeating the #7 USPORTS wrestler and taking home first place at the Golden Bear Open, #2 junior Waipuilani Estrella-Beauchamp has been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Women's Wrestler of the Week.  

Waipuilani Estrella-Beauchamp is from Kahului, Hawaii and pinned her first two opponents including #7 Amy Bell on her way to a first-place finish on Sunday.

Estrella-Beauchamp is the third Argo to win wrestler of the week this season after sophomore Erin Hikiji and freshman Paige Morales each took home the award in December. Estrella-Beauchamp is the ninth Argo to win women's wrestler of the week in UP Athletics history joining Hikiji, Morales, Ashley Gooman, Ira Navarro, Ivy Navarro, Emily Lorring, Tatum Sparks, and Yurie Yoneoka.  

Head coach Matt Atwood on Waipuilani Estrella-Beauchamp's performance stated, "Wai had another great weekend continuing her dominance on the season! Last year at this time she was still recovering from knee surgery so it's great to see her healthy and back to what she does best!"
