SIDNEY, Mont. -- The University of Providence men's wrestling program defeated Dickinson State University 46-3 in a neutral site matchup at Sidney High School.

Head coach Steve Komac on the trip to Sidney stated, "We would like to thank the Sidney coaches, parents, school administrators, and community for hosting our dual and treating us so well. They had a great turnout with their fans and it was a fun event. Sidney is a great wrestling community!"

In the first match of the dual #22 sophomore Bridger Hall set the tone for the Argos pinning Joseph Oliver in 1:11. #13 freshman Pig Hobbs added a pin of his own in the following match defeating Tate Nordby in 1:56.

The third bout of the evening saw #20 redshirt senior Alan Badley pick up a ranked win versus #17 Jackson King to put the Argos ahead 15-0.

#25 redshirt junior Caleb Werner moved up to 197 and made it four straight victories for the Argos pinning Samuel Adams in 4:32. #2 redshirt senior KC Buday would follow Werner and put the Argos ahead 27-0 with UP's fifth pin of the dual.

At 125, redshirt freshman Dre Coles picked up another ranked win defeating #19 Jose Gonzalez 7-3.

Following a pin by redshirt sophomore Tristan Bremer, #22 redshirt freshman Jalen Vladic defeated Caleb Nielsen 10-2 to increase the Argo lead to 38.

In the final match of the evening, #11 sophomore Aden Graves pinned Calvin Carroll in his hometown gym to put an exclamation point on the 46-3 victory for the Argos.

UP will be back in action on Jan. 17 when they visit North Idaho College for a dual. Wrestlers will begin at 6:00 p.m. in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho.
