GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence men's basketball team heads to Helena, Mont. for their season opener. The Argos will face Oregon Tech on Friday at 1:00 p.m. (MST) and Bushnell University on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. (MST).
 
The 2024-2025 University of Providence team is a mix of returners and newcomers including seniors Jamil Bowles, Sam Norum, and Trey Wasson.  
 
Oregon Tech
The Owls were ranked #16 in the preseason NAIA Coaches Poll after finishing last season with a record of 27-6 and fell to Northwestern College in the second round of the NAIA National Championship. This will be the second matchup in program history between Oregon Tech and the University of Providence with the Argos taking the lone matchup in 2018.
 
Bushnell University
The Beacons finished last season with a record of 15-14 and fell to Oregon Tech in the first round of the Cascade Collegiate Conference Tournament. This will be the first matchup in program history between Bushnell and the University of Providence.
