CORVALLIS, Ore. – After picking up a pair of ranked victories at the Grand View Open, #5 junior Aden Graves has been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Men's Wrestler of the Week.

Graves is from Sidney, Mont. and defeated #8 Elliott Rodgers of Marian University and #19 Hayden Brown of Oklahoma City both by way of major decision on his way to a fourth-place finish at the Grand View Open. Graves also defeated Cael Rahavardi of Northern Iowa on Saturday.

This is Graves' second career CCC Wrestler of the Week award after winning the honor after his victory over #1 Salvador Silva at the Battle of the Rockies last season. Aden joins Abel Nava Jr., Caleb Werner, Joel Avila, Hayden Schrull, Payton Hume, KC Buday and Jordan Komac as the only wrestlers in the last four seasons to be named CCC Wrestler of the Week.

Head coach Steve Komac on Graves' performance stated, "Aden had an outstanding weekend competing with some of the best wrestlers in the country with a fourth-place finish within brackets mixed with division one, division two, and NAIA athletes."

The Argos are back in action Sunday, Nov. 24 for the Spokane Invite. Wrestlers will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will compete throughout the day.
