PARK CITY, Kan. – The University of Providence men's wrestling program competed at the NAIA National Tournament throughout the day Thursday.
Senior
KC Buday was the highlight for the Argos advancing to the quarterfinals after defeating Austin Foye 18-1 and Braydon Erb 7-1. Buday will wrestle Hunter DeJong tomorrow for a trip to the semifinals.
Freshman

Alan Badley, and sophomore
Sawyer Hobbs all picked up a pair of wins on Thursday.
P. Hobbs pinned Carlo Castagnaro and defeated Derick Coleman 3-1, Nava Jr. teched Joseph Teguia 16-0 and also teched Anthony Pyron 16-0, Badley defeated Drake Tipton 4-1 and pinned Isaiah Twait, and S. Hobbs pinned both Mason Garcia and Kyle Scott.
Other Argos still battling for All-American status include sophomore
Aden Graves, senior
Jordan Komac, and sophomore
Ethan DeRoche. Graves defeated Ben Mitchell 10-3, Komac defeated Sean Houston by injury default, and DeRoche defeated Jakob Jerabek in overtime via tiebreaker 3-2.
The Argos will be back in action tomorrow for Day 2 at the NAIA National Tournament. Wrestlers will begin at 10 a.m. (MST) in Hartman Arena.
