GREAT FALLS, Mont. -- The University of Providence women's basketball program hosts Eastern Oregon on March 15 for the first round of the NAIA National Tournament. Tip-off is scheduled for 5 p.m. in the McLaughlin Center.   

Last Time Out 
The Argos defeated Carroll College 75-66 to win the Frontier Conference Tournament. Graduate transfer Ashlee Maldonado led the way with 28 points and freshman Monique Carter and senior Maddy Dixon each added 14.  
 
Season Leaders 
Maldonado is the Argos leading scorer and assist getter so far this season, averaging 17.9pts and 4.4ast per game. Freshman Keanna Salave'a has the most rebounds with 10.5 per game, and she is also second on the team in points averaging 14.5. Defensively, Maldonado leads the Argos averaging 1.9 steals per game. 
 
NAIA First Round
The Argos will face the #15 seed Eastern Oregon University in the first round of the NAIA Tournament. The Mountaineers finished fourth in the Cascade Collegiate Conference with a record of 21-7. This will be the second matchup in program history with the Mountaineers taking the first matchup 84-76 in Spokane, Wash.
