GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Two second half goals from junior Kailey Camper pushed the University of Providence women's soccer team over Rocky Mountain College on Sunday afternoon.   

The Battlin' Bears (2-2-1) had the first chance of the game when Morgan Maack's cross found Emma Lensing who beat the goalkeeper to put Rocky Mountain College ahead 1-0.

In the 32^nd minute the Argos (4-1-1) found the equalizer when Ernestina S. Ofori's cross hit sophomore Shea Waters who rocketed it off a defender and into the goal to tie the game at 1.

Neither side was able to put on any pressure the rest of the half as the Argos went into halftime tied 1-1.

The Argos came out the second half with pressure, and in the 58^th minute Camper had a one-on-one with the goalie and she was able to bury it to put the Argos ahead 2-1.

Camper did it again in the 75^th minute when senior Ernestina S. Ofori's lead pass set up Camper perfectly for her to beat the goalkeeper for her second goal of the game.

Despite Rocky Mountain scoring in the 83^rd minute to cut the lead to one, the Argo defense stood tall down the stretch as the Argos defeated the Battlin' Bears for the first time since 2016, 3-2.

The Argos will be back in action Sept. 27 when they travel to Portland, Ore. The first touch is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. (MST) against Warner Pacific.
