GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence women's volleyball program swept #24 Carroll College Saturday afternoon for their 20
th straight victory.
In the first set neither side could grab a lead by more than three until a 9-1 run from the Argos (21-1) behind a pair of kills from senior
Bella Green put UP in front 17-12. The Fighting Saints (12-9) responded, bringing the set within one, but the Argos scored the final seven points of the set with kills from senior

The Fighting Saints stayed ahead to begin the second set getting out to an 11-7 lead, but the Argos quickly answered tying the set at 13. UP continued their momentum with a 6-1 run off kills from Giles and junior
Cabry Taylor, and following a pair of points from Carroll, a kill from senior
Ryann Eddins gave UP the second set 25-19.
In the third set the Argos got out to an early 7-3 lead off kills from Fiedler and Giles, and despite the Fighting Saints bringing it within two, UP cruised the rest of the set scoring 10 of the last 12 will a kill from Taylor securing the third 25-14, and the match 3-0.
Senior
Sadie Giles led the way for the Argos with 10 kills and 23 digs, senior
Bella Thompson totaled 37 assists, and juniors
Kyra Saiers had a team high 24 digs.
The Argos will be back in action Friday, Oct. 17 when they head to Valley City, N.D. Game time is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. (MST) versus Valley City State.
