program fell to Carroll College 1-0 Thursday afternoon.
The Fighting Saints (4-4-4) had the first opportunity of the game when in the seventh minute freshman Samantha Patch sent a ball down the sideline to senior Deanna Lord and she was fouled in the box to set up a penalty shot
Sophomore Rachel McAllister buried the penalty, and despite two late shots on frame by the Argos (4-5-2) from senior
Kailey Camper and sophomore
Chloe Pajaro, UP went into the break trailing 1-0.
Carroll pressured to begin the second half with four shots on goal over the first 15 minutes, but all were saved by senior goalkeeper

The Fighting Saints continued their momentum rattling off five more shots on goal, and despite a late equalizer attempt from sophomore
Peyton Schmauch, the Argos fell to Carroll College 1-0.
The Argos will be back in action Saturday, Oct. 18 when they host Rocky Mountain College for senior day. The first touch is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. (MST) in Great Falls, Mont. Â Â Â
