GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence women's wrestling program heads to Grand Junction, Colo. for a tri-dual against #5 Colorado Mesa and Vanguard University. 
 
Last Time Out
The Argos had four athletes crowned champions at the Battle of the Rockies in #1 Erin Hikiji, #4 Waipuilani Estrella-Beauchamp, #7 Esther Han, and freshman Elise Twait. Hikiji defeated #3 Makayla Young in the championship at 103, Estrella-Beauchamp pinned #1 Jumoke Adekoye at 138, and Twait defeated #4 Hayden Newberg at 145.  
 
Rankings
The Argos were ranked #4 in the latest NAIA Top 20 poll with 12 individual wrestlers ranked in the top 20 of their respective weight classes in #1 Erin Hikiji (103), #1 Paige Morales (110), #4 Waipuilani Estrella-Beauchamp (131), #7 Alyssa Randles (124), #7 Esther Han (138), #9 Kailey Rees (138), #11 Kayla Shota (110), #11 Hailey Sutton (160), #12 Isabelle Asuncion (117), #14 Aspen Dodge (160), #14 Alicia Frank (131), and #17 Isa Bocanegra (103).
 
Colorado Mesa
The Mavericks were ranked #5 in the latest NCAA Women's Wrestling Rankings and have six wrestlers ranked in the top 10 in #2 Lorianna Piestewa (124), #3 Gretchen Donally (145), #3 Jayleen Sekona (207), #7 Isabella Morales (117), #10 Hania Halverson (131), and #10 Adriana Gomez (110). This will be the first dual matchup in program history between the Argos and Colorado Mesa.
 
Vanguard University
The Lions are in their first year of NCAA eligibility in 2025 and finished last year with a dual record of 2-10. This will be the second matchup in program history between the Argos and Vanguard with UP taking the lone matchup last season 38-9.
