The Mavericks were ranked #5 in the latest NCAA Women's Wrestling Rankings and have six wrestlers ranked in the top 10 in #2 Lorianna Piestewa (124), #3 Gretchen Donally (145), #3 Jayleen Sekona (207), #7 Isabella Morales (117), #10 Hania Halverson (131), and #10 Adriana Gomez (110). This will be the first dual matchup in program history between the Argos and Colorado Mesa.
Vanguard University
The Lions are in their first year of NCAA eligibility in 2025 and finished last year with a dual record of 2-10. This will be the second matchup in program history between the Argos and Vanguard with UP taking the lone matchup last season 38-9.
