KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After going 2-0 and upsetting the #3 ranked NCAA wrestler, freshman Elise Twait has been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Wrestler of the Week.  

Twait went 2-0 on Saturday pinning Piper Hall of Vangaurd University in 1:10 in the Argos 46-2 victory over Vanguard and defeated the #3 ranked Gretchen Donally 10-7 in the Argos dual versus #5 Colorado Mesa.

This upset win comes on the heels of Twait's first place finish at the Battle of the Rockies on Nov. 8 when she finished 4-0 and defeated #4 Hayden Newberg of Indiana Tech in the championship match.

The Argos will be back in action on Sunday, Nov. 23 when they head to Spokane, Wash. Wrestlers will begin at 10:00 a.m. (MST) in the Spokane Open.
