CORVALLIS, Ore. – After going 4-0 and defeating the #15 ranked NAIA wrestler, freshman Joely Slyter has been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Wrestler of the Week.  

Slyter went 4-0 on Sunday, defeating Aris Fry 10-0, Isabella Coronado 10-0, Kayla Vail 10-0, and #15 Gloria Diaz 10-0 in the championship match to take first place at the Spokane Open.

This award comes on the heels of Slyter entering the NAIA Rankings at 117 where she was ranked #10 in the latest NAIA Coaches Poll.

The Argos will be back in action on Saturday, Dec. 5 when they head to Crete, Neb. and Williamsburg, Kent. For the Doane Open and Patriot Duals.
