KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The University of Providence women's wrestling team set a new program record moving up to the #2 ranking in the latest NAIA Coaches Poll the National Office announced Thursday.
 
The Argos have 12 individual wrestlers ranked in the top 20 of their respective weight classes in #1 Erin Hikiji (103), #1 Waipuilani Estrella-Beauchamp (131), #3 Paige Morales (110), #4 Alyssa Randles (124), #5 Elise Twait, #5 Esther Han (138), #7 Hailey Sutton (160), #8 Joely Slyter (117), #8 Kassidy Sigda (180), #10 Kayla Shota (110), #10 Frances Porteous (160), and #12 Isa Bocanegra (103).

Women's wrestling is now the fourth program in school history to reach the top two rankings of the NAIA joining men's wrestling, women's basketball, and women's volleyball.
 
The Argos will be back in action on Sunday, Dec. 14 when they head to Naperville, Illinois for the North Central Invitational.
