GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence women's wrestling team heads to Nebraska and Kentucky for the Doane Open and Patriot Duals on Dec. 5-6.
 
Last Time Out
The Argos had four athletes crowned champions and 15 others reached the placement matches at the Spokane Open in #13 Kayla Shota, #10 Joely Slyter, #14 Hailey Sutton, and freshman Sydnee Nielson placed first, freshman Megan Morales, seniors Kailey Rees, Frances Porteous, and sophomore Jasmine Adiniwin finished in second, sophomore Isa Bocanegra, freshman Lucia Schlapfer, Taydem Uyemura, Elise Twait, Mckenzie Mills, and seniors Kassidy Sigda, and Alanna Haney finished in third, freshman Megan Cornett, Tiara Majer, sophomore Angelina Doral, and junior Destiny Ware took fourth, senior Kacey Lee Pua finished in fifth, and senior Nyla O'Brien took sixth.

The Argos were ranked #4 in the latest NAIA Top 20 poll with 12 individual wrestlers ranked in the top 20 of their respective weight classes in #1 Erin Hikiji (103), #1 Waipuilani Estrella-Beauchamp (131), #5 Paige Morales (110), #5 Elise Twait, #6 Esther Han (138), #8 Alyssa Randles (124), #10 Joely Slyter, #13 Kayla Shota (110), #14 Hailey Sutton (160), #15 Kacey Lee Pua (180), #17 Kaitelynn Oliver (138), and #18 Isabelle Asuncion (117).
 
Patriot Duals
The Patriot Duals is a two-day event that takes place on Dec. 5-6 in the UC Volleyball Gym in Williamsburg, Kentucky. The Argos will compete in 6-10 duals over the two days with NAIA powerhouses in attendance in #1 Life, #5 Indiana Tech, #6 Lindsey Wilson, and #8 Cumberlands. The Argos are sending #1 Erin Hikiji (103), #5 Paige Morales (110), #10 Joely Slyter (117), #8 Alyssa Randles (124), #1 Waipuilani Estrella-Beauchamp (131), #6 Esther Han (138), #5 Elise Twait (145), #14 Hailey Sutton (160), Kassidy Sigda (180), and Sydnee Nielson (207).
 
Doane Open
The Argos are also sending 19 wrestlers to compete at the Doane Open on Saturday in #13 Kayla Shota, #15 Kacey Lee Pua, #17 Kaitelynn Oliver, #18 Isabelle Asuncion, Isa Bocanegra, Megan Morales, Angelina Doral, Eliza Brunner, Tiara Majer, Lucia Schlapfer, Eleasa Renken, Kailey Rees, Taydem Uyemura, Mackenzie English, Aspen Dodge, Frances Porteous, Destiny Ware, Mckenzie Mills, and Jasmine Adiniwin.
