CORVALLIS, Ore. – After going 6-0 at the Patriot Duals and defeating the #2 ranked NAIA wrestler, junior Paige Morales has been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Wrestler of the Week.
 
On day one of the Patriot Duals Morales started off her weekend with a 10-0 victory over #2 Diana Gonzalez in the Argos 48-1 victory over #1 Life.

Morales did not give up a point the rest of the day pinning Elizabeth Gonzales in 48 seconds and defeating Jaelynn McIntosh and #12 Mackenzie Smith 10-0.

On day two Morales stayed perfect pinning Emma Bauknight in 3:47 in the Argos 32-16 victory over #6 Lindsey Wilson, and defeated #12 Mackenzie Smith for the second time on the weekend 10-0 in the Argos 33-11 victory over #5 Indiana Tech.

This is Morales first CCC Wrestler of the Week award this season and the third of her career after winning one in 2023 and one in 2024. Morales is the fourth Argo to be named the CCC Wrestler of the Week award so far this season joining senior Waipuilani Estrella-Beauchamp and freshman Elise Twait and Joely Slyter.

The Argos will be back in action on Sunday, Dec. 14 when they head to Naperville, Illinois for the North Central Invitational.
