HELENA, Mont. – After leading the Argos to victories over #19 Carroll College and Montana Western, senior Ashlee Maldonado has been named the Frontier Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
 
Maldonado is from Sunnyside, Wash. and scored 31 and 16 points to average 23.5 per game over the two victories. Ashlee also added six rebounds, five assists, and two steals per game while shooting 38% from three. This is Maldonado's second player of the week award this season and fifth of her career after taking home the award three times in 2023-2024.
 
Head coach Bill Himmelberg on Ashlee's performance stated, "Ashlee does an amazing job leading us on and off the court and she really stepped up for us this week. She continues to be a calming presence on both the offense and defensive end of the court, and we are lucky to have her at the University of Providence."
 
Argos will be back in action Thursday, Feb. 20 when they travel to Havre, Mont. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. (MST) versus MSU-Northern.
