HELENA, Mont. – After leading the Argos to victories over Montana Tech and MSU-Northern, sophomore
Keanna Salave'a has been named the Frontier Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

Salave'a is from Vancouver, Wash. and averaged 19 points and 8.5 rebounds over the two victories. Keanna also tallied six blocks while shooting 66.7% from the field. Â

This is Salave'a's fifth player of the week award this season and seventh of her career after taking home the award twice in her freshman season. Keanna is the sixth Argo in the last four seasons to be named player of the week joining
Ashlee Maldonado,
Maddy Dixon,
Brooklyn Harn,
Parker Esary, and
Emilee Maldonado.  Â

Bill Himmelberg on Keanna's performance stated, "Keanna does an outstanding job getting involved on both the offensive and defensive ends. She has been exceptional for us all year and I am happy she is receiving recognition for her performances."

Argos will be back in action March 3rd for the semifinals of the Frontier Conference Championships in Great Falls, Mont.
