ATHERTON, Calif. – The University of Providence women's wrestling program competed at the Menlo Open throughout the day Sunday.

The Argos had two wrestlers place in the top four in freshman Mackenzie English and junior Nyla O'Brien.

English finished 4-1 on the day pinning Shelby Banovitz in 2:04, Kiera Stedall in 2:27, and Caremlla Foley in 1:39 before defeating Eliza Goodwin 5-1 in the third-place match.

O'Brien finished 3-2 on Sunday pinning both her opponents in under two minutes before defeating Micaela Correa of Menlo 12-0.

The Argos will be back in action on Sunday, March 2 when they travel to Redding, Calif. for the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships.
