PARK CITY, Kansas – The University of Providence women's wrestling program had three athletes advance to the semifinals on day one of the NAIA National Championships Friday.

Juniors Erin Hikiji, Waipuilani Estrella-Beauchamp, and sophomore Paige Morales all went 2-0 on Friday to advance to the semifinals.

Hikiji started her day with a pin in 53 seconds versus Alexis Hatfield to advance to the quarterfinals and then defeated Angelina Caseneda 11-0 to secure her third career All-American status. Hikiji is the first Argo in program history to be a three-time All-American. Hikiji will wrestle #5 Judy Sandoval in the semifinals tomorrow.

Morales also started her day with a pin defeating Reagan Thomas in 1:29 and in the quarterfinals Morales defeated #6 Tehani Soares 6-4 to earn her second career All-American status. Morales will wrestle #2 Stefana Jelacic in the semifinals tomorrow.
