REDDING, Calif. – The University of Providence women's wrestling program crowned four champions at the Cascade Collegiate Conference Tournament Sunday afternoon.
Juniors
Erin Hikiji,
Waipuilani Estrella-Beauchamp, and sophomores
Paige Morales and
Alyssa Randles all placed first at the CCC Championship.
Morales finished her day 3-0 dominating all three of her opponents on her way to her second straight CCC Championship at 110 pinning Jacqueline Palacencia in 55 seconds, teching Telsarina Walter 10-0, and defeating #4 Emma Baertlein 6-0 to take home the title. Â
Randles also went 3-0 on Sunday defeating #13 Kaylee Annis 4-1, beating Erica Grant 13-2, and pinned Kadence Beck in 1:35 to be crowned champion at 124.
Hikiji defeated Aphrodite Ayala 10-0 before accepting a forefeit in the championship to win her second straight CCC Championship at 103 and Estrella-Beauchamp received a bye to the finals where she defeated teammate
Kailey Rees to win her third consecutive CCC Championship at 138.
The Argos had a few others earn berths to the NAIA National Championships in

The Argos will be back in action March 14-15 when they travel to Park City, Kansas for the NAIA National Championships.
