GREAT FALLS, Mont. -- The University of Providence softball program fell to #2 Oregon Tech 10-4 and 13-2 (6) Saturday afternoon.
 
In the opening game the Argos (5-5) jumped in front when senior Sydnee Weber hit her first home run of the season to put UP ahead 2-0.
 
The Owls (11-3) would answer, scoring five runs in the top of the second, but in the bottom of the fourth senior Olivia Roe and Brynn Cullen hit back-to-back RBI doubles to bring the game within one.
 
Oregon Tech hit a home run in the top of the sixth to increase their lead back to two, and despite late pressure from UP the Owls added another two runs in the top of the seventh as the Argos fell to #2 Oregon Tech 10-4.
 
In game two the Owls scored the first six runs of the game, but in the bottom of the second a single to left from senior Brynn Cullen made it 6-1.
 
Oregon Tech added a pair of runs in the top of the fourth, and despite an RBI single from junior Sierra Main, the Owls would score the final five runs of the game as UP fell to #2 Oregon Tech 13-2 (6).
