GREAT FALLS, Mont.- After nine seasons at the University of Providence, Argo golf will have a new head coach for the 2025-2026 season as head coach Spencer Williams departs the program.

Coach Williams has been the head coach of the men's and women's program since July of 2019 and was an assistant coach for three years prior to taking over the program. Williams coached multiple all-conference athletes in Ben Kaul and Cody Babinecz and over 30 academic all-conference honorees.

"We are grateful for Spencer and all he has given to these programs, and we wish nothing but the best for him and his family." Chief of Staff to the President, Kylie Carranza said. "Both the men's and women's golf programs have a critical role within Argo Athletics. We look forward to a new era of Argo golf and finding the next coach to lead and grow this program." Kylie Carranza has been the interim leadership for Argo Athletics since January 2025.

Carranza said that a search for a coach will begin immediately, and she is hopeful to have someone in place before the golf season begins in the fall.
