ATLANTA, Ga. – The Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) has announced the top 25 schools according to cumulative team grade point averages within NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA. The 2024-2025 women's basketball program at the University of Providence finished with the 12th highest GPA throughout the NAIA.
"The WBCA is pleased to recognize those women's basketball programs that have committed themselves to excellence on the court and in the classroom," said WBCA Executive Director Danielle Donehew. "The 119 teams we honor this year strive to achieve all-around success and we commend their efforts. Congratulations!"
This is the 14th time the women's basketball program has earned a spot on the WBCA top 25 honor roll under the tutelage of coachÂ
Bill Himmelberg. The University of Providence was one of three Frontier Conference programs that appeared on the list along with Carroll College and MSU-Northern.

Kylie Carranza stated, "I am proud of our University of Providence women's basketball team for earning this WBCA Academic honor with a 3.66 GPA for this last year. Under the leadership of Coach Bill, the team continues to exemplify the values of excellence, discipline, and integrity that define Argo Athletics."
