KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The University of Providence women's volleyball program moved up one spot to #4 for the highest ranking in program history in the latest NAIA Women's Volleyball Top 25 Poll on Wednesday.

Head coach Arunas Duda stated, "We are thrilled and humbled to earn the #4 ranking, the highest in program history. This achievement reflects years of hard work and dedication from both our players and coaches who have invested so much into building this program. We have a mature, battle-tested group that has already pushed through some challenging matches early on. I'm confident in our future because this team takes pride in doing things the right way, staying disciplined, and striving to improve every week. At the same time, we recognize the road ahead is long. Defending this ranking will be a challenge, as every opponent will bring their very best against us each night."

The Argos were ranked #5 in previous poll and have since picked up five Frontier Conference victories over Caroll College, Rocky Mountain, MSU-Northern, Mayville State and Valley City State to extend their win streak to 11 games. #4 is a new program record for the highest ranking in program history for Argo volleyball.

UP also has earned five Frontier Conference Player of the Week awards and two NAIA Player of the Week award so far this season. Junior Cabry Taylor was named the Frontier Conference and the NAIA Defender of the Week, while senior Bella Thompson has earned three straight Frontier Conference Setter of the Week's and one NAIA Setter of the week, and junior Kyra Saiers earned Frontier Conference Defender of the Week.

The Argos will be back in action Friday, Set. 19 when they head to Bismark, N.D. to continue their journey towards a seventh Frontier Conference Championship.
