CORVALLIS, Ore. – After defeating the #4, #6, and #12 ranked wrestlers at the NWCA National Dual Championships, junior Paige Morales has been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Wrestler of the Week.
 
On day one of the NWCA National Dual Championships Morales defeated #12 Briseis Serrano 10-0 in the Argos 34-9 victory against #11 Southern Oregon.

On day two Morales stayed perfect defeating #6 Eliana Martinez 10-1 in the Argos 27-16 semifinal victory over #3 Grand View and defeated #4 Diana Gonzalez 10-0 in the championship against #1 Life.

This is Morales second CCC Wrestler of the Week award this season and the fourth of her career after winning one in 2023 and one in 2024. Morales is the fifth Argo to be named the CCC Wrestler of the Week so far this season joining seniors Waipuilani Estrella-Beauchamp, Erin Hikiji, and freshman Elise Twait and Joely Slyter.

The Argos will be back in action on Thursday, Jan. 15 when they host #11 Southern Oregon. Wrestlers will begin at 6:00 p.m. in Great Falls, Mont.
