KIRKLAND, Wash. -- The University of Providence men's soccer program fell to Northwest University 3-1 Saturday afternoon.
The Eagles (3-5-1) had the first opportunity of the game just under three minutes in, but Andrey Kozorezov's shot was saved by junior goalkeeper
Andrew Schoenen.
Both teams went back-and-forth until in the 35
th minute the Eagles broke through when a ball in from Benjmain Toscano found Matthew Ludlow and his strike found the back of the net to put Northwest University ahead 1-0.
The Argos (2-5-1) pressured over the final 10 minutes of the first half with a shot in the 39

Eduardo Brito, but his strike was saved by goalkeeper Bailey Hopkins as UP went into the break trailing 1-0.
