GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence women's wrestling team heads to Glendale, Ariz for the Firestorm Open on Friday, Feb. 13. Wrestlers will begin at 10:00 a.m. (MST).
 
Last Time Out
The Argos defeated Dickinson State 42-4 on senior night. UP won nine of ten matches and saw #7 Joely Slyter pin #15 Mikalya Jardine in 1:51.
 
Rankings
The Argos were ranked #3 in the latest NAIA Top 20 poll and have 12 individual wrestlers ranked in the top 20 of their respective weight classes in #1 Erin Hikiji (103), #2 Waipuilani Estrella-Beauchamp (131), #3 Paige Morales (110), #4 Elise Twait,  #5 Aspen Dodge (160), #5 Alyssa Randles (124), #6 Esther Han (138), #7 Joely Slyter (117), #11 Kassidy Sigda (180), #11 Isa Bocanegra (103), #11 Hailey Sutton (160), and #16 Kayla Shota (110).
 
Firestorm Open
This is the first year with a varsity NAIA program for Arizona Christian and will be the first time the Argos have wrestled at the Firestorm Open. Wrestlers will begin at 10:00 a.m. (MST) with Arizona Christian, Arizona State, Grand Canyon University, Hope International, and the University of Arizona in attendance.
