GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence men's wrestling team heads to Salem, Ore. for the Cascade Collegiate Conference Tournament on Feb. 20-21. Wrestlers will compete throughout the day at Salem Armory Auditorium.
 
Last Time Out
The Argos went 2-0 in Arizona to wrap up the regular season schedule defeating #9 Embry-Riddle 30-10 and #14 Arizona Christian 21-13. After defeating the #5 ranked NAIA wrestler, #9 Kobi Johnson earned the CCC Wrestler of the Week award.   
 
Rankings
The Argos were ranked #12 in the final NAIA Top 25 poll with eight individual wrestlers ranked in the top 25 of their respective weight classes in #6 Ethan DeRoche (285), #7 Pig Hobbs (157), #9 Kobi Johnson (125), #13 Brady Ellison (174), #14 Cade White (149), #14 Jalen Vladic (165), #17 Irish Furthmyre (157), and #20 Boden Banta (125).
 
CCC Championships
The University of Providence is sending the maximum of 12 wrestlers to compete this weekend in Boden Banta (125), Kobi Johnson (125), Blake Woolsey (133), Tristan Bremer (149), Cade White (149), Pig Hobbs (157), Irish Furthmyre (157), Blaze Sumiye (165), Jalen Vladic (165), Brady Ellison (174), Noah Poe-Hatten (184), and Ethan DeRoche (285).
 
The Cascade Collegiate Conference received the highest allotment of automatic berths with 47 allocations. Friday's matches begin at 1:00 p.m. (MST), while Saturday's contests are set to start at 11:00 a.m. The championship matches will commence at 6:00 p.m. (MST).
