9/23/2026 4:00:00 PM

GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The University of Providence men's hockey program hosts three games in three days to open the season. Puck drop is scheduled 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at the Great Falls Ice Plex.

"Ever since I accepted this position back in the summer, I've been counting down the days until our first game. This is an exciting opportunity, not just for our coaching staff, but for our entire team and program. We plan on playing a playoff-style brand of hockey and establishing our identity from the opening puck drop." Head coach Tim Vant stated, "We have many goals for this season, but our ultimate goal is bringing this program back to ACHA nationals. The boys have bought into that vision and have been hard at work preparing for this moment. Now it's time to put that work into action and get the season off to a good start."
